A Moment of Zen

In this virtual cooking class we will explore the unique history of Japanese aesthetics in art, food and daily life and prepare simple yet sophisticated appetizers and dessert.

On the menu:
Seaweed and Cucumber Salad
Gyoza
Matcha Cake

I encourage you to accompany the meal with sake. If you’re feeling adventurous, purchase a bottle of Nigori (unfiltered sake) as well as filtered sake for a taste test. Both are sold in 10 oz bottles.
